ibis budget Zurich Airport

Even though it’s a large hotel with many rooms and located close to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet — we had a great night's sleep. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. The location is convenient, with easy access to and from the airport. Breakfast offered plenty of food with a good selection of the usual options. You would definitely be full. The internet was outstanding, which was a pleasant surprise for a hotel of this size. Staff were friendly and professional, though clearly very busy, as they had a lot to manage. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay, especially for travelers needing to be close to the airport.

The Ibis Budget Zurich Airport is just that: a clean and quiet budget hotel two short tram stops from the airport filled with budget-minded travelers in an otherwise over-priced country. It seems most people there were making overnight plane connections. Although the room itself was quite compact, the property efficiently served its purpose and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our plane arrived at about 10am, and despite a 3pm check-in, the hotel kindly accommodated us with an early entry without an additional charge or making us wait in the lobby. The nearby town of Glattburg has a good selections of grocery stores and restaurants. All in all, it was a pleasant overnight stay that went without a hitch.

I have stayed here many times and it's a great location for early starts from Zurich airport. So nice to just jump on a tram and not have to book shuttle buses like many of the more expensive airport hotels. Shower is great. Food options onsite are limited but you are 5 minutes from the airport so this isn't an issue.

Excellently located, a few minutes from the airport via tram. We were 3 people and the space was enough for 1 night. We didnt take breakfast. A kettle and washing machine available close to the reception area. There are no places closeby to have food unless you go to the airport or into the city. The tram takes 40 minutes to get to the old city in one straight ride. Otherwise you go back to the airport and take a train which is marginally quicker. I thought zurich was quite boring and I am glad I didnt spend much time there. This was adequate for 1 night, if more than 1 night you might want more room.

The room was smartly planned, even though it was super compact it had all faciliies like a study table, a cloth hanger (if i remember correctly). a bunk bed, the lower bed could fit 2 people and the upper bed could fit 1. There were lights on top of both beds. There was a bathroom and a toilet room inside the room. The bathroom had hot water and the toilet room had a toilet brush which was great. The staff was super approachable and clear with the instructions, there were facilities like laundry, glass cups, seating, vending machines in the lobby. We could even buy adapters if required - this really helped us!
